Michael has more than 16 years of experience as a principal consultant in architectural acoustics having undertaken major design projects in more than 10 countries. He has published papers on acoustical design of churches and studios, and presented seminars on acoustics in a variety of settings including AIA chapter meetings and audio society meetings. He is a member of the Acoustical Society of America and the Audio Engineering Society.

With an undergraduate major in physics at the University of Queensland, Australia, and a master's degree from Yale University, USA, with studies in acoustics, architecture, and theater engineering, Michael has a thorough understanding of the theories and principles of acoustics and architecture. His education is complemented by more than 20 years of practical experience in the field. His most recent position as regional manager with RPG Diffusor Systems gave him additional insight into the research, development, and manufacturing of architectural finishes for acoustical performance.

Michael is assisted by Priscilla Goh (co-director) who handles administrative duties at Acousthetics. She has worked for a number of large companies in administrative positions and is well-suited to the task of detailed project tracking, project documentation, and scheduling.
