StarSilent is a smooth, seamless, durable sound-absorbing plaster finish system for walls and ceilings.The StarSilent system utilizes a substrate panel that is composed of recycled crushed glass bottles, available in 10mm, 15mm, or 25mm thicknesses. The panels are able to form curved surfaces as well as compound curves. During installation, the substrate panels are attached to framing or grid using screws. The edges of the panels are glued together using a special adhesive, which is also spread over the screw heads. The substrate panels can be finished with StarSilent Smooth trowel-applied smooth plaster or StarSilent Superfine spray-applied micro-textured plaster that visually appears smooth from distances greater than 15 feet. NRC values range from 0.55 to 0.90.
