Durlum linear open-cell ceilings are modular, accessible metal blade and baffle systems that bring a touch of elegance with their accentuated geometric lines. Standard colors include white, black, grey, and clear anodized, while custom colors are also available. Panelized products are typically 24” x 48” and seamlessly join together to create a monolithic and fully accessible ceiling.
Baffle systems are available in various dimensions and can be grouped together to create linear expressions. Thanks to a high open area, this ceiling is effectively acoustically transparent, making it perfect for concealing building systems in the ceiling plenum, integrating lighting, and adding inexpensive sound absorbing materials to the deck above. With four models in this product family, there’s a wide variety of options to suit your preferences.
Starlam can be installed vertically, diagonally, or in stepped configurations. Starlam blades are available in three thicknesses: 3/16”, 3/8”, and 5/8”, with on-center spacings from 1-1/2” to 4”. Additionally, for wall applications, the blades can also be angled 45 degrees.
Star can be installed horizontally or vertically and is available with blades of three thicknesses: 1/8”, 3/8”, and 5/8”. The 1/8” Star blades can be spaced between 5/8” and 1-5/8” on center, while the 3/8” and 5/8” Star blades can be specified with a one inch or greater on-center spacing.
Vario blades feature a rod-shaped design, resulting in a sleek and contemporary appearance. The meticulous linear alignment of the slim rods adds to the overall elegance of the design.
PolyLam baffles are constructed of perforated steel and are available in standard and custom dimensions. Baffles can be finished in a variety of standard or custom colors or digitally printed with wood grain or other textures. PolyLam baffles can also be integrated with radiant cooling/heating system, lighting.
