Cells are manufactured from pre-coated aluminum blades pressed together. The panels, typically 24”x48”, are non-combustible, and light in weight. The cell size, height, spacing, and thickness can be varied to suit the design intent. Standard colors include white, black, grey, and clear anodized, with custom colors and finishes also available.

How are the panels installed?
Panels attach to a grid using torsions springs. Panels are designed for easy installation and removal, allowing full accessibility to the ceiling plenum for maintenance. Durlum’s grid structure uses notches in the grid and panels to ensure every panel locks in place and aligns perfectly with the neighboring panels. This grid design ensures a monolithic appearance with no deviation from panel to panel.
