AC isolators consist of a pre-compressed molded fiberglass pad coated with a flexible, moisture-impervious elastomeric membrane that is bonded to a steel load-distributing top plate. AC isolators are available in different sizes and capacities to accommodate different load conditions and deflections. While commonly used for isolating fans and motors, these mounts are also used in architectural applications to isolate trash/laundry chutes, speakers, projectors, and more.
