ICC
ICC is a 1″ deflection spring hanger designed for acoustically isolated drywall ceilings, most commonly used in concrete structures.
One notable feature is the pre-compression bracket above the spring that prevents uplift. This makes attaching drywall simple — making it a contractor favorite.
The ICC springs are typically installed directly to deck with a single anchor or can be suspended by threaded rod.
Every time you purchase the ICC spring system you will receive a project-specific shop drawing that details the spring layout, spring deflections, seismic restraint, and installation sequencing. Additionally we offer an optional service to have the shop drawings fully engineered and signed/stamped by a state-licensed third-party structural engineer.
